This social experiment works with economically challenged and illiterate individuals to skill them with high-crafting expertise in weaving stainless steel wire. Raju, a former beggar with dwarfism that hindered any form of employment, now trains and teaches inexperienced women with few prospects for socioeconomic mobility. This project carves out a site for such a negotiation within the local dwelling context and creates local subsistence-opportunities replicable at the neighborhood scale, enabling women to both earn and take care of their children within traditional family structures.
